- Better for bricks, tiles, concrete and soil.
- Strict weight management for dense materials such as brick, concrete etc.
- Heavy waste can exceed 1 tonne quickly.
5m3 Mobile Skip Bin
- Ideal for timber, gyprock and mixed waste.
- Great volume without the masonry limits.
- Best when you are not loading large amounts of bricks, concrete, tiles or soil.
6m3 Mobile Skip Bin
- Best for light bulky waste and strip-outs.
- Ideal for packaging, timber off-cuts, gyprock and light mixed waste.
- This bin does not increase the legal weight limit (1500 kg max load).
Up to 1000 Kilograms
This suits lighter trade and renovation waste such as:
- Timber off-cuts
- Gyprock
- Packaging
- Lighter mixed site waste
- Small renovation clean-ups
If your loaded skip stays at or under 1000 kilograms, the quoted price stays the same.
Over 1000 Kilograms
Heavier materials can push the skip weight up quickly.
If the loaded skip goes over 1000 kilograms, additional weight is charged at $44 per extra 100 kilograms.
This helps keep pricing simple upfront while still being fair on heavier loads.
Heavy materials
Heavy building materials and demolition waste must be discussed before booking.
This includes:
- Bricks
- Concrete
- Tiles
- Soil
- Rubble
- Demolitions
These materials can increase weight quickly.
Weight Limits
This suits lighter trade and renovation waste such as:
- Timber off-cuts
- Gyprock
- Packaging
- Lighter mixed site waste
- Small renovation clean-ups
If your loaded skip stays at or under 1000 kilograms, the quoted price stays the same.
Why We Use This Pricing Model
This approach protects customers on both ends:
- Light loads stay simple and predictable
- Heavy loads are charged more accurately by weight
- You are not paying an inflated flat rate just in case
- Legal towing limits are respected
If your job turns out lighter than expected, you are not overpaying.
If it is heavier, the pricing adjusts fairly.
Not Sure Which Pricing Applies?
If your job includes bricks, concrete, tiles, soil, rubble or masonry, or you are unsure how heavy the load will be, call Danny before booking.

Weight Limits and Masonry Loads
All trailer skips have a maximum legal load limit of 1500 kilograms.
Overweight charges may apply once your load goes over 1000 kilograms, but no skip can be loaded beyond the 1500 kilogram legal maximum.
Bigger bins give you more space, not more weight capacity.
Dense materials such as bricks, concrete, tiles, soil and rubble add weight very quickly. For this reason, masonry loads must be booked into the 4m3 trailer skip only.
As a guide, masonry is generally capped at around 2m3 or under 1500 kilograms, depending on the material and how it is loaded.
If your job involves heavier materials, call before booking so we can guide you to the right bin and loading limits.
What Counts as Trade & Construction Waste
Trade and construction waste includes materials from renovations, building sites, fit-outs and commercial works such as:
- Timber off-cuts
- Gyprock and plasterboard
- Building packaging
- Metal
- Carpet and flooring
- Joinery waste
- Bricks
- Tiles
- Concrete
- Rubble
- Site protection plastics
- Pallet waste
Mixed loads containing trade materials may be charged at the applicable tipping rate required by disposal facilities.
Choosing the Right Bin Size
Choose your bin based on how much space you need. Weight capacity stays the same across all bins because every trailer has the same legal limit.
- 4m3 for masonry and heavier dense materials
- 5m3 for moderate renovation and mixed trade waste without masonry
- 6m3 for light bulky trade clear-outs, strip-outs and fit-out waste
If you are unsure what suits your job, call Danny before booking. We will give you straight advice on bin size, likely weight and the best-value option.
